Programme Integration & Interface Support

Connecting the teams, decisions and information that delivery depends on.

AISK helps clients manage the interfaces between organisations and disciplines so responsibilities remain clear, technical information moves effectively and cross organisational issues do not become unmanaged gaps.

What we support

  • Interface identification and responsibility mapping
  • Client, contractor and consultant coordination
  • Design and construction interfaces
  • Technical query ownership and closure
  • Information and approval routes
  • Change interfaces and affected parties
  • Contractor and subcontractor dependencies
  • Retrofit assessor, designer, coordinator and installer interfaces
  • Resident and building user considerations where relevant
  • Interface registers, action trackers and escalation routes

The Interface Manager role

Where ongoing coordination is required, AISK can provide an Interface Manager to work across project teams and maintain visibility of responsibilities, decisions, dependencies and unresolved cross organisational actions.

The role does not replace the contractual responsibilities of designers, contractors or client teams. It strengthens the connections between them.

Information flow

A technical decision recorded in one meeting is of little value if it never reaches the site team. A site discovery is equally problematic if it never reaches the designer.

AISK helps establish routes for technical queries, site feedback, approvals, design changes and escalated decisions so project information supports action rather than simply creating more records.

Design, change and delivery interfaces

Design information can pass through several organisations before it becomes completed work. AISK helps make ownership visible where requirements, design development, contractor proposals, site discoveries or technical changes require input from more than one party.

Occupied and live environments

Where residents, building users or live operational environments affect access, sequencing or technical decisions, those requirements need to connect with the wider project rather than sit in a separate communication stream.

Relevant experience

Interface management grounded in real delivery.

Rugby Parkway requirements and assurance | Director Experience

Client requirements, design consultant outputs, railway standards and multidisciplinary engineering information were coordinated through a structured requirements and progressive assurance process, creating a clearer evidence trail from requirement to design response, review and acceptance.

Retrofit discipline interfaces

AISK has coordinated issues between Retrofit Assessors, Designers, Coordinators, installers and technical specialists where inconsistent information was creating repeated clarification and programme delay.

Tier 1 and subcontractor interface

On a local authority retrofit framework workstream, support was provided to clarify responsibilities, deliverables and technical requirements between a subcontractor and the wider Tier 1 delivery structure.
