Protecting technical intent from design through delivery.
AISK provides independent technical scrutiny where requirements, design information, construction interfaces or change could affect quality, compliance, buildability or long term performance.
Core capability
Client and project requirements
Drawings, specifications and technical submissions
Construction details and design interfaces
Buildability and existing condition compatibility
Materials, systems and design assumptions
Installation readiness and first installations
Technical queries, changes and non conformances
Inspection, evidence and completion information
Progressive assurance
Assurance is most useful while the design or installation can still be changed. AISK can introduce review points from requirements and design through readiness, first installation, delivery, change and completion.
This creates a clearer line between what the project is expected to achieve, the information being relied upon and the work ultimately delivered.
Design and delivery scrutiny
We review drawings, specifications, technical submissions and construction interfaces in the context of the project requirement, existing conditions, buildability and intended performance. Where information is incomplete, the aim is to identify what needs to be resolved before uncertainty reaches site.
Proportionate to risk
Not every drawing or installation requires the same depth of review. AISK considers technical complexity, consequence of failure, repetition, existing building condition, moisture and thermal risk, number of interfaces and difficulty of future remediation.
The purpose is to concentrate scrutiny where it is most useful.
Change, evidence and close out
Site conditions and project requirements evolve. AISK can review significant technical changes, substitutions and non conformances against the original requirement, then support the evidence and close out needed to retain a clear record of what was actually delivered.
Relevant experience
Experience connected to the service.
Full case studies sit within Experience. These short examples show how the capability has been applied in practice.
Retrofit design and delivery review
Design information has been challenged where drawings, assessment evidence or proposed details did not reflect property conditions sufficiently for installation or compliance decisions. Clarification and amendment were sought before progression.
Design clarification supported by fRSI
Where a standard detail could not demonstrate the performance of a constrained junction, fRSI modelling and Construction Detail Notes were used to provide a quantified technical basis for design review.
Rail progressive assurance | Director Experience
On multidisciplinary rail infrastructure, AISK's directors have managed requirements, constructability and progressive design assurance so unresolved technical and delivery risks were visible before later design stages.
