Last updated: 22 August 2026
These terms apply to your use of the AISK Ltd website.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

2. Purpose of this website
The website provides general information about AISK, our experience, capabilities, services and professional perspectives.
Website content is provided for general information only.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, information published on this website does not constitute project specific engineering, construction, retrofit, building physics, planning, design, legal, financial or other professional advice.
You should not make a technical, design, construction or investment decision solely on the basis of general information published on this website.
3. No professional appointment is created
Visiting this website, contacting AISK or submitting an enquiry does not create a consultant client relationship or professional appointment.
AISK only accepts responsibility for professional services where the scope, responsibilities, limitations and commercial terms have been agreed through an appropriate written proposal, appointment, contract or other formal agreement.
Any specific professional appointment will take precedence over these Website Terms in relation to the services covered by that appointment.
4. Design and technical responsibility
AISK provides a range of design related services. The extent of our responsibility depends on the service for which we have specifically been appointed.
This may include:
- CAD drafting
- technical drawing development
- design coordination
- retrofit design within defined competence
- construction detailing
- Building Physics and thermal analysis
- technical assurance
- development of drawings from specialist information
- coordination of manufacturer or third party design information
The publication of a drawing, calculation, diagram, case study or technical article on this website does not mean that AISK accepts design responsibility for the same or a similar solution on another project.
Project specific design responsibility will always be determined by the relevant professional appointment.
Where drawings are developed using information produced by manufacturers, structural engineers, fire engineers, system designers or other specialists, responsibility for the underlying specialist information remains subject to the relevant project appointments and responsibilities.
5. Technical content and case studies
Case studies, technical examples, calculations, diagrams and project descriptions may be simplified, anonymised or adapted for publication.
They are provided to demonstrate experience, methodology or capability and should not be treated as construction information for another property or project.
Building performance depends on factors including construction, geometry, materials, workmanship, exposure, occupancy, ventilation and environmental conditions. A solution that is appropriate for one building may not be appropriate for another.
Project specific assessment should therefore be undertaken before technical information is relied upon.
6. Manufacturer and third party information
References to products, systems, standards, manufacturers, certification bodies or third party technical information do not constitute an endorsement unless expressly stated.
Product specifications, certification and technical requirements may change. Where manufacturer or specialist information is relevant to a project, the current applicable information should be verified directly as part of that project's technical process.
7. Accuracy of website information
We aim to ensure information on this website is accurate and current.
However, construction standards, regulations, guidance, product information and industry requirements can change. We do not guarantee that every page will always reflect the latest technical, regulatory or legislative position immediately following a change.
Where current compliance is important to a project, the applicable requirements should be verified as part of the professional commission.
8. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, graphics, technical material, diagrams, branding and original imagery, belongs to AISK Ltd or is used with appropriate permission.
You may view and share links to publicly available pages for normal personal or professional reference.
You must not reproduce, modify, republish, commercially exploit or present AISK material as your own without permission where that use would infringe our intellectual property rights.
Third party trademarks, logos and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
9. Website availability
We aim to keep the website available and functioning correctly but do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted access.
We may modify, suspend, withdraw or update parts of the website without notice.
10. External links
The website may contain links to external websites or services. These links are provided for convenience and information only.
AISK does not control third party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Website Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to those limitations, AISK is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on general website content where no project specific professional appointment has been entered into.
Where AISK has been formally appointed to provide professional services, liability relating to those services will be governed by the relevant appointment or contract.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
